Welcome to our website.  Glen Alpine is a small town with great values.  You will find friendly caring people, you might even compare our town to “Mayberry”.  We are blessed with beautiful views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, including Short Off  Mountain, and Table Rock Mountain.  The Catawba River runs peacefully through our town and  Lake James also borders our Town.  Both the river and the lake are perfect for swimming, boating, and fishing.  Lake James has a state park which has water sports, picnic area, hiking trails and camping.
